Beaches
The coastline in Denmark is lined with stunning white sandy beaches. Greens Pool and Light’s Beach are widely recognised as two of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast. Ocean Beach is closest to town and popular with surfers.
Country walks
There is a huge network of walking trails along the coast – climb Monkey Rock, explore Harewood Forest or immerse yourself in the forest on the Tree Top walk at The Valley of the Giants.
Wineries
With more than 20 quality wineries to chose from, it’s hard to pick just one favourite – these are just a couple of mine… The Lakehouse, Single File, Castelli Estate, Forest Hill and Duckett’s Mill Wine & Cheese.
From rustic cellar doors to gourmet restaurants, many also sell ice cream, cheese and other local delicacies.
Restaurants and Cafes
The Bakery in Denmark is famous but you’ll not want to miss out on some of the other great eateries. The Dam is one of the new hot spots and in Denmark town, check out Bar Tarifa for wine, tapas and live music.
Dog friendly places
Dogs can be taken for long walks in Harewood Forest, on the Mokare Trail or to Kwoorabup Park (on a lead).
And dogs are welcome at most wineries and cafes if they are on a leach and stay outside.
